The latest version of Teleport for Startup Cities mobile app is now available on both iOS and Android! Ever since releasing the app, we’ve been gathering feedback and making improvements to make sure that it’s up to date with what our users want and need. This time along we’ve added a few brand new nifty features and improved some pre-existing ones. Here’s what’s new.
Ask a Local
This is the most exciting new feature for us - we know that moving raises a lot of questions, and in addition to the app itself providing you with all sorts of information about your potential new city, we have now also built a community inside the app where locals of each city can help you with whatever information you need.
Sometimes it’s better to get some real inside scoop from someone who knows best - Ask a Local is just the place for that. And of course you can share your own local knowledge and experience with people who are in need of some help! Hopefully the community is enough to get you started, but if you have a more complicated or personal question, you can use the Get There tab and contact a Teleport scout who will help you out!
Multi-currency support
When we first released Teleport for Startup Cities, there was only one currency available. To make things a bit easier for you, we’ve now added British pounds and euros as well. You can switch your currency in the Personal Data section in your preferences.
Improved budget widget
We explained the budget upside and downside feature in one of our previous feature posts. Now we’ve improved iit even further by adding a little chart that helps explain your budget upside or downside by comparing it to your current location.
