The logic for Eightball is pretty simple: we take into account your current city, job and income, and from there we estimate in which percentile the salary for this combination falls into. We then take salaries in the same percentile for the new city and provide that back to you.
The world is full of inefficiencies, and sometimes a super high Silicon Valley salary produces much less lavish disposable income than another city with OK absolute salary numbers, but notably lower costs. Worry not – Eightball’s got your back with quickly finding the information you need.
