We believe in tolerant societies. We also believe in readily available and transparent data on all aspects of life. That’s why we’ve kicked off a collaboration with Equaldex – a collaborative knowledge base for the LGBT movement.

The team behind Equaldex aims to crowdsource every law related to LGBT rights to provide a comprehensive and global view of the LGBT rights movement, and has been doing so for more than 2 years.

There’s a lot more to finding your best place in the world than the financial, logistical and cultural aspects. LGBT equality is something everyone in team Teleport supports and believes in, and we aim to help everyone find the city in the world where they feel the happiest, safest and most productive.

Finding a place with a tolerant and open environment is extremely important, and we want to make sure that information about both the legal options as well as general public opinion on these matters is honest and available.

However, reliable global data on any legal limits and rights is quite hard to come across. So, we were very excited when we discovered Equaldex, and even more so when they said they’d happily allow us to use their data on Teleport Cities. This collaboration is now available for you as well. Here’s what the Equaldex widget looks like on our city pages:
