Cost living in Barcelona?

Hey guys, I am about to accept a job offer from a company in Barcelona, so I am planing to move there soon.
I've been there a couple of times as a tourist but I don't know if the salary I'll get from this new company is enough to maintain the same quality of living that I get here in Buenos Aires.

Monthly salary will be around 4k euro net.

Can you please advice if with this monthly income I'll be able to rent a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment in a nice neighborhood, own a car, and obviously to pay all the regular things like food, leisure, apartment expenses and so on?

Objectively speaking, 4K net / month is (well) above average (which is some 1900 I think). So you should be good.

But then again, life style is subjective, so it depends on what is a nice neighborhood to you, type of car, health and car insurance, holidays, eating out, etc.

It says "You would need around 3,142.91€ in Barcelona to maintain the same standard of life that you can have with 2,245.66€ (46,000.00ARS) in Buenos Aires (assuming you rent in both cities)".

So think about how much you spend now (more or less than 2245) and apply the same ratio to 3142 to see how much you'd need.
