Does Hamburg have many good language schools?

My German is pretty good but I’m a bit worried that anything less than total fluency will make life, not to mention work, a bit harder. So I’m very interested in doing some advanced language study once I arrive at a local language school. Does Hamburg have many good schools where I could study for the Goethe-Zertifikat C1?

Hi Patrick -

Colon School or Deutsch Akademie are both god options and located downtown. My wife achieved a C1 level in approximately 1 year of courses between both schools.

Don't worry too much about language. If you speak english you can survive without problems and for business its a must. We are open minded and will welcome you for sure.

Don't forget to check out the offers from Volkshochschule. This is run by the German government and is way more affordable than private language schools.
