We're moving to Chicago from Paris next year. My son is finishing second grade and I'm thinking about getting him into a good private school. Which ones are the best and what's required to get accepted?
We actually have one of the best. University of Chicago Lab School. You can read up on more info about it and the requirements here: http://www.ucls.uchicago.edu/
Previous poster is right, Lab School is very good. Other top private schools in the city are Parker, Latin and Gems Academy. Be prepared to pay heavily for all, sometimes 30K plus. Unfortunately, you have to be well connected or able to provide a large check to get into those schools.
