There are also a lot of hipsters around the east/south of the CBD/downtown area who will literally buy anything that was made using outdated 19th century technology, is 'artisinal' in the name, or has kale or fermented tea in it...
Most town centres have a local market which sells hand made goods from local producers, so you could start there and also try to get your wares into some of the smaller stores.
Much like the mainstream reality TV they despise, hipsters looooove anything with a story behind it for an emotional anchor. So make sure you include a story about why you are here and how this means your secret beardwax formula is particularly self gratifying and bragworthy.
