Rent one bedroom aparment: 7000
Expences: 700-1500
Dinner: 180-300 per person
Drink at bar: 100
Coffe: 50
Internet and cable: 1200
Subway: 7,50
Buss: 6,50
Theatre: 200-500
Cinema: 150?

Car expenses are quite a lot. So... i would suggest, dont even bother...

It could be ok if you're alone but It's definitely not enough to support the family of 3 persons (you, wife and a child).

It's a livable wage but you won't make bank. However its way above the average income. You should be able to live just fine but not with too many luxuries

I'm agree with Ian, you are going to be "ok". Make sure at least if it's a good job with insurance and everything. If not, you would have to pay taxes and insurance.

Forget about buying a car or a department...

Not really. Yo can live with that, but depending on the neighborhood you could end up spending half of your salary on rent. Bruno's list is quite accurate.

It is a good salary if you're not studying, or if you don´t have hobbys . Here the spents are very expensive, specially rent. And even if you use the public transport, 20000ARS it's quite short to live alone in the city.

Hi. No, it is not. A minimum salary is 10.000, so 20.000 is not enough if you have to pay rent, and a medical service.
