Is Barcelona a good place to study a Master's degree in Graphic Design?

I'm a graphic designer from Mexico who is looking to study abroad a Masters degree. I'm considering Barcelona because of its design scene, but I'm not sure about its schools. I've read about UAB and Pompeu Fabre, but I would like to know the opinion of designers who had lived there. Would you recommend it rather than Madrid? If so, why?

Ofc Barcelona it's a better choice than Madrid for Graphic Design.
Its a vanguard city, design it's more innovative there. (The city its quite better in my opinion btw)
Madrid its a more conservative, old school city.

In Barcelona the more important design schools are private, you have names such as Massana, Eina or Elisava.

We also have the DHUB, de desing museum and lots of related events if you stay alert.

I studied in Barcelona in ESdi and was not a good decision. The teacher level was so low taking into account that the price enrollement. Both students and teacher were so selfish. I have asked to my friends about other universities and they dont recomend Uab, Pompeu fabra or Massana...

I dont know any university in Madrid but I think Madrid could offer a much more welcoming atmosphere and in terms of museums, art fair and good profesionals has a lot to offer.

pd: Many people in Cataluña dont know anything about Madrid.

Barcelona is a great place to study. Lots of great designers come from Barcelona, some I know personally and they loved their learning experience. Make sure you find an internship while you study to get hands on experience and take advantage of making connections while you're here. Let me know if you need more information
