Heard some good things about internet connectivity in Estonia. I’m coming from England and it’s still unfortunately not very common here to have easy wifi access (asking for passwords even in coffeeshops et.). You need big data packages from your mobile provider to survive. Wondering if the situation is better in Tallinn?
I’m sure someone that actually lives there can give a better answer than me, but from my experience visiting Tallinn earlier this year there was public wifi coverage throughout much of the city (offered by the municipality, I think). Businesses would also generally offer public wifi.
http://wifi.ee/en/ -- this a good local mapping source for open wifi areas in Estonia. Currently shows 428 for Tallinn.
Yeah there's some sort of free wifi avilable in most central parts of tallinn. In my experience the best one is in Caffeine coffee shops - really high speed and a great place for working. Check out http://coffee-inn.com for locations
There is free public WIFI at various locations across the city (not just in cafés) - http://hiddentallinn.com/free-wifi/
