Job in Barcelona - Numero de Extranjero?

Hello
my friend who lived in BCN told me about a need of having some Numero de Extranjero for work. Is it something a company gets me or I need to go get it to some office?

Hi, It's NIE number and you need to ask for it giving all the documentation depending if you belong to EU or not and you need to have an online appointment to get it.

If you are citizen from a European Union country, don't need anything special, you'll get it for sure. It's something formal and need it to open a bank account for example.

If not, you'll need a company that makes you an offer and they should help you.

If you have more doubts, better ask to the spanish consulate in you country.
