Public schools for foreign kids?

Hi everyone! I'm on a job process to work in Krakow, and my main concern is about my kids education. I've heard and read about a government program that provides a tutor to each foreign child on school, that helps with the child's native language on classes and tests, for a year period. I've read here and there, that also a polish tutor is provided to help with the process of learning the new language.
But I can't be sure of these information, and they are very important to me, definitive I would say. I have two kids, one at age of nine and other on three. This program really exists? Is it free of extra costs once I'm legally working on Poland? Is it hard to acchieve?

Hi Gustavo,
I was able to find this http://www.migrant.info.pl/Important_information_for_foreigners.html where I got an impression that tutor will be assigned by school irrespective of your visa or working status (since all kids have to go to school even if you're in the country illegaly). Also I think this will be applicable only to your older kid. Younder kid will have to go to kindergarten (przedszkole) which can be public or non-public. I don't have kids, but my colleguas used non-public ones because they're just more convenient (but sure it costs you money).
