To open a coffee shop in Brussels?

Hello people. For some time I a have an idea to move in Brussels and open a Coffee shop. What I can not perceive from abroad is the height of investment. Primarily I refer to costs of opening a legal entity in Belgium. Perhaps someone that has experience with startup in Brussels could help me on this?

You will need a bvba type of company which is 18.550 euros min capital investment. You can use the money to set up shop of course. You do not need to pay the whole sum at once however.

Lots of other legal: proof of business abilities, local law.

Setting up a private company with limited liability in Belgium costs around €1,500 to register with a civil law notary. On top of that, the company in Belgium legally requires an injection of €18,550 in capital, of which €6,200 must be paid in as a legal minimum during incorporation. Off course you will get to this minimum as you will need some investment for this kind of business.
