What would be a nice, less typical place for a meeting in Riga?

We are a group of about 10 people, looking for a place for our meeting in Riga in November. Would you have any hints of meeting facilities and places for accommodation, something else than the typical conference hotels? This far we found Kanepes Kulturas centrs that looks quite inspiring as a meeting facility. Thanks!

For what sort of meeting you have in mind? KKC (kanepes kultūras centrs) most likely is not the place you would seek. Dabas zinātņu akadēmiskais centrs or Library of Latvia might be more suitable. Accommodations, i personally would suggest AirBnB flats, if you would message me about price range, i can be more specific with local establishments

Hi, you can also try museums - Latvian National Art Museum; Riga Burse; Arsenals; Riga War Museum; Riga Motor Museum; Riga Pharmacy Museum, etc. It really depends on your budget and specifics.

Thank you all! I’ll check all these. Need to check if we are allowed to use AirBnB. We would like to find a place where we can work (writing articles) and eat and where the accommodation is not far
away. Our project is about agile urban development, agilecities.fi/en, and we
are especially interested in spaces that are somehow local and creative, maybe less
academic and less official, or at least something differing from such as
Radisson SAS. KKC seems to be like the style we are thinking about, OraculeTang
and TechHub and the Library also look interesting. Dabas zinātņu akadēmiskais
centrs might be possible as well, though maybe not as a the first option as
this visit is for us an opportunity to escape from the academic environment we
usually work in

Hi Dainis, I found out that we can use AirBnB. Would you still be able to provide suggestions for AirBnB flats? Basic hotel rooms seem to be available for about 40 EUR per person per night so something not much more than that would be ok. We would like to find flats where the whole group, about 10 people, could be not very far away from each other
