What are the zones/districts in Prague which are suitable for young expats in Prague ?

Everywhere near city center it will be fine. Best is by my opinion Vinohrady district but it is littlebit more expensive.

Hi Neeraj, Vinohrady in the Prague 2 district is a great location which is often favoured by expats. Karlin Prague 8 is more an upcoming district with lots of bars and small restaurants more catering to young professionals instead of traditional expats. Of course the historical city centre, Prague 1 is awesome but very busy with tourist and typical tourist attractions, bars etc.

Karlin (part of Prague 8) and Zizkov (Part of Prague 3, neighboring city center). Zizkov feels more "Prague-y", Karlin has same architecture, but also quick access to lot of new office buildings ("Rohanske nabrezi") and is near Vltava.

Both have excellent subway access, you will be in city center <7 min. If you prefer more campus-like feeling, Prague 6 (Dejvice) has large technical campus with lot of young people. Also, city center <10 min by subway access.

Well, very much depends on what you are looking for. I would go for Vinohrady/Zizkov (Prague 2 and 3). They have good combination of decent surroundings, parks and price for rent. And both are pretty close to city center for any weekend party. If looking for calmer parts with family I can recommend Prague 6 and Prague 4 - Podolí. Prague 7 - Holesovice is getting hipster vibe last years as is considered to be docks part of the city.

I totally agree with the comments above. Most of the expats live in Vinohrady (close to metro I. P. Pavlova, Náměstí Míru, Jiřího z Poděbrad and Flora). Žižkov is cool as well but access is mostly by tram
