Uber is available, but my impression is that most available rides are operated by taxi drivers. There's also Taxibeat, a very good app for taxis.
Hello Andreas! Uber app works in Athens, but also Taxibeat is a great taxi hailing app, that connects you with taxi drivers that have a good feedback-rating. Another one is Taxiplon.
Hi! Uber is available but doesn't have many drivers in Athens. I mostly use Taxibeat, which has similar functionality but connects you with taxis (slightly more expensive but more likely to have a car quickly available near you).

Uber here in Greece is only for professional services only, meaning Taxis.
