What's the best way to find solid accommodation for one in Canggu for Dec/Jan?

I know about Airbnb and the Facebook group for Canggu. I'd like to see if I can find something more direct here. Thanks!

There is a guy who started a co-living / co-working villa there. His name is Anibal. There is also Ecosfera hotel right next to Dojo Bali that does monthly rentals at a decent price.

I traveled to Bali in Dec and Jan and I did not catch the advice given by Georgio (thanks G). I booked a house via the Canggu Facebook group (it was also listed on airbnb) for month one, and moved to guest house for month 2. If I did it again, I would only book an airbnb for one week, and take that time to find a guest house. Dojo for coworking is definitely the way to go. My personal preference would be to locate an the Batu Bolong / Echo Beach side of the shortcut. I moved form the far side over, and I didn't miss the daily shortcut traverses at all.

I'm heading back in the next few months, and I'm looking forward to seeing Canggu again!
