I have been in Thailand for almost 3 years now. Very good point, Sang-Kyu Kim. Nationality matters, and some passports are more "useful" than others. That being said, acting respectfully and networking will probably help you get a better situation than the perpetual "tourist/visa runner" one. Look good and be polite, humble (Thai ppl do not like ppl "overacting"), NEVER yell at anyone (staying cool in every situation is highly valued here) and, most important, smile
