Los Angeles is a huge sprawling area. The actually city of Los Angeles is quite small and not conducive to families. However, the suburbs surrounding the city number over 100 cities, all part of Los Angeles County. For families I would suggest considering Orange County, which is very close to Los Angeles and cities like La Habra, Fullerton, Brea or even Walnut and Diamond Bar. These areas have great schools. It’s important to note that Los Angeles, the San Gaqbriel Valley particularly, has been overrun by Chinese immigrants in the past 10 years. Cities like Arcadia, Montebello, Pasadena, Alhambra, Temple City and Rowland Heights are close to 50% Asian. Los Angeles is a big wonderful place, but it’s not just one city.
