Which universities are good for pharmacology in Chicago?

Which university pharmacy is good in Chicago? Does anyone know? I can't wait for your recommendation

Hi - I checked with some contacts living there and they said both the University of Chicago and Northwestern have first-class Medical Centers. I would start with those and good luck!

I wouldn't overlook University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). They have a great program as well: http://mcph.uic.edu/home It is a state school so it is less expensive than the private alternatives, while on par with research. Also in league with Northwestern and U of C is Rush University which is solely a medical college.

My mother got her pharma degree at UIC and has had a great career.

Are you looking for pharmacy? Or pharmacology?? Two very different things. I did my PhD in pharmacology at UIC and it was fine. Northwestern has a molecular pharmacology program that's just getting off the ground, and the one at Loyola is really small but ok. UIC has the only pharmacy school in the city - the next closest is in Downers Grove at Midwestern University.
