I’m bilingual in English and (Mexican) Spanish, which is a real asset where I live, as many businesses have Spanish-speaking clients or trade with Mexican companies. Given the close ties between Ireland and Spain, will my language skills be an asset in the Dublin job market?
Yes, very much so. Most of the multinationals that are based in Dublin (Google, Facebook, Microsoft, IBM, Intel, etc.) require dual language for certain roles because this is their EMEA HQ. Spain is a market they operate in.
